bright skies

I told Kainoa to pretend he was doing some kung fu.

This week I learned that oxtail soup really cures a bad head cold; I learned that taking a nap at 5:30pm is a bad idea; and I learned that I just can't bring myself to like yogurt at all, greek style or not.  I also learned that the movie Soul Surfer was awesome, everybody should see it! Most importantly, I learned that everybody's perception of art is different and unique, and what some people might consider a technically bad photo can be considered art by others. I'm really trying to keep this thought in my head every time I take pictures, especially after reading this article recently.  This is part of my process of trying not to be so self critical and embrace imperfections more.

Did you learn anything this week?  Share it here:

Great silhoutte of kung fu "kid". We had a puppy outing to the movies the other evening. Yes, we took 10 puppies to the movies, as part of their Seeing Eye training. We saw the Soul Surfer. I don't know if they enjoyed it as much as we did.
