23 week self portrait

Time is flying by!  Thankfully I'm feeling a lot better in this second trimester.

 

San Francisco Trip

I was lucky enough to take a trip to San Francisco a few weeks by myself to visit my cousin and take in the sights.  It was a quick trip, but we crammed a bunch of things into my itinerary!  We did the typical San Francisco must sees: Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown,  Coit Tower.  We also drove to Lake Tahoe and spent the weekend there.  Soo much fun to see the snow, but not so much fun to be in freezing weather!  We also did a side trip to Half Moon bay.  It was a whirlwind 4 days, but I'm so glad I got to go!  Can't wait to go back again with the whole family.  Also on a side note, I realized how hard it is to take photos in the snow!  Everything was so bright.  I had all these visions of beautiful snow photos, but in reality, I was freezing, shaking trying to hold the camera, and could barely see with the brightness of the snow!  Oh well, lesson learned.

We are so excited to be having another girl!

Isla is 4

My little mini me turned 4!  Can't believe how fast time is going.  We had a low key birthday, just us family at a cute little English tea place, then more cake and presents at home.  It was a great day for a birthday.

Isla says she's going to be a mommy too.  I just love it.
