Summer and ramblings...

ISO 100 | f2.8 | 1/100

hmmm what did I learn this week? Summer has been going full strong for a couple weeks now and keeping the kids occupied is such a chore. Kainoa's been in summer school for a few hours a day, then we go to the playground with a few of his classmates for a few hours. After that we do some workbook work, practice the ukulele, ride bikes, play games. Summer has been more exhausting than relaxing! I've been really bad with keeping up with this blog and pictures and checking out other people's blogs. I learned that when I don't keep up with that kind of thing, it starts to build up and then I feel like I get way behind. I love looking at blogs and seeing what other people are up to, but man it's been so hectic lately to get online. I'm rambling on now. Anyway, this is a rather boring picture. Just us playing outside, and me trying to get a couple pics of my baby girl. She's such a rascal when she knows I want her to sit still for one shot.

I shared my picture on Click it up a notch! Check it out and share what you learned....

Gorgeous shot of your adorable daughter! Your life sounds wonderful, riding bikes and playing the ukulele! I know what you mean though, my husband always reminds me that I don't have to do everything as the online world is 24/7, there's always something going on...then there's family life too.

I love the sparkle in your daughter's eyes! Your photo also had a lot of "pop" and is very sharp.

Thank you for your visit and very kind blog comment!

Love her big brown eyes!
I agree- summer should be relaxing, but I always find it to be the most hectic time of year-- I guess there's just so much I want to do while the weather is nice!

It's not boring--I think the dirty flip flops next to the sparkling eyes tell a story! Beautiful.

I know EXACTLY how you feel about being behind! I have been terrible about different "online duties". But I remind myself that I have a life and that is what matters. Other bloggers won't mind and in fact I'm hoping they are just as busy as me :O) he he. I love the light in Isla's eyes!! Just beautiful! And that bokeh!! Janell, your pictures never disappoint!
