Bathtime Baby

ISO 400 | f1.8 | 1/160

This week I learned (or realized) that I have been getting really lazy to edit lately, and I need to step up the game! I think I like my photos best when I import in Lightroom, edit in photoshop, and then finish back up in LR. I just wish it wasn't such a tedious process. A big problem for me is sometimes I'll edit a picture, think it looks okay, then a few days later I look at it and think it looks too yellow or overdone or something. I don't know. What do you think of this picture?

I shared my photo on Click it up a notch! Go check it out:

Ha ha, I do the exact same thing. I think I like a photo then later I think I like it a different way. I guess there is no "right" way in photography. Whatever YOU like best.

It's a sweet photo. To my untrained eye I'd say it might be a tad cool but still a great capture.

HA! That looks cracks me up! Why do you edit in LR, then PS, then LR?? Just wondering :O) I get lazy about editing too and am working hard right now to catch up! Yikes! Beautiful light in this photo!! I think the skin tones look really nice, not too yellow!

This is so super cute! I think skin tones are so personal and hard to get "right". Depends on the look of the photo too. To me this is a fun pop look and the skin tone suits.

I tend to agree with Lisa. What matters most is what you like. Baby looks perfectly exposed to me. Maybe a slightly darker backgroud as baby blends in a bit...I don't know...looks good to me :)

I don't think I'd have the patience to edit 3 times! That being said- I think this shot is beautiful- the expression just cracks me up!
