50th State Fair

Today was a good day. After Kainoa's ukulele practice, we ate at Shakey's Pizza with his best friend from school and his mom. I liked it way better than Chuck E Cheese. Later that afternoon, we went to the state fair to check out the rides and play some games. We almost got screwed because right after we bought tickets, they shut down all the rides due to the impending storm clouds. We walked around, played a ton of games, won a bunch of little stuffies that will probably end up in the trash, ate funnel cakes and cotton candy, saw some camels (didn't sit for the camel race though), and was just about to leave when they finally opened the rides again. The kids had a blast. I felt bad for Isla because she really wanted to ride some things, but was too short. But overall we had a fun day.
