I heart Kauai

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky to be able to escape for a weekend and go to Kauai with my friend A. It was just us girls getting away to relax and hang out, without the kids. It was blissful. She had never been to Kauai before, so we had fun playing tourists. We went to the Waimea Canyon, old Hanapepe town, ate shave ice at Jojo's, went to a few family parties and ate at some of my favorite places. The weekend went by too fast, but I was able to capture lots of memories. The best part was spending time with my family, who I don't get to see as often as I would like. The only thing that sucked was it rained a lot the first day, and we couldn't go ziplining like we had planned. Other than that, we did a lot and had a blast.

These are my favorite shots of me and my cousins and most of my family. It was hard to get a group this size to cooperate, but the laughs we got were worth it.
