Friday fun- ice cream and pumpkin mochi

For Christmas we got an ice cream maker (thanks Mom!). Jamie made some vanilla ice cream. It came out pretty good!

Isla loves it!

Also last week before NY's eve, my friend Kristin came over to help me make pumpkin mochi. I used this recipe from Zakka Life. It really does taste like a cross between mochi and pumpkin pie. Yummy yummy. Not a great picture, but I was more concerned about eating it. :)
