a hobbyist

Proud to be a Hobbyist

I came across this link on one of my favorite photography blogs and had to share; it totally fits me to a t. I've been asked if I am going to go into business and right now, I have no desire to. I feel like i have so much to learn and I have so much fun with it, and I don't want it to be a chore. I love to take pictures of my dear friends and family and not feel stressed about it. Just recently I had an epiphany; I was so concerned about taking technically correct pictures, that I forgot what it was really about and I kept missing those special moments. Now I realize that nobody really cares if I overexpose something or if it's slightly blurry.  I'm just happy that I have a camera and I can take those special moments.
