Urban Garden

 

Recently my friend and I took our girls to the Urban Garden, run by UH Manoa.  It was a really neat place with a cute children’s area, with mini garden’s such as a Pizza garden, Hawaiian alphabet garden, and a Butterfly garden, etc.  Isla absolutely loved it and I can’t wait to take her again!  Such a cute place to take little girls, and to learn about different flowers and plants in Hawaii.

 

   Going into the little tunnel.  Isla on the “Pizza”. This cute little area reminded me of Alice in wonderland.  They called it the Alika Rabbit Garden. Isla pretending to have tea.  Boardwalk Garden.  This one was awesome, it took you on an 180ft trail and it seemed like you were walking through a bog.

We can’t wait to go again!  It was hard to see the whole thing with 2 little girls, we missed the sundial garden, the hedge maze, and the animal garden.  Plus there are the regular gardens for adults too.  I love finding things like this that are fun and educational.
