Kindergarten!

 

My firstborn started Kindergarten yesterday!  Seems like just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital.  :)  I think I was more nervous than he was, I had been agonizing for weeks about how he would do and if he would be okay.  (I myself had a horrible time in school, I remember being pinched and bullied and just hating every moment.)  Well he did fine, he did look sad when I left, but he didn’t cry, and he told me later that the boy that sat next to him was nice and played with him and helped him with his lunchbox.  His teacher said he did great but was really quiet.  His only complaint was that the day was too long!  It was pretty long for me, I kept looking at the clock after lunch, missing him and feeling lost.  But I guess I’ll get used to it.
