Garlic Shrimp

So today was one of those days. I had lots of errands to do, then my car battery died in the parking lot at Ross. But luckily Jamie was with me and got my van jumped, and then we ate at an awesome Korean restaurant with the best meat Jun ever. Anyway, when we finally came home, I decided to make garlic shrimp. I'm obsessed with the garlic shrimp from the North Shore, but it's too expensive to get it often. So I tried making it tonight.


I never have time for crushing real garlic so I always use jarred. :/





First I had to make some Filipino style garlic rice, because I had some leftover rice in the freezer.. oops the center was still frozen though.

Lots of butter and garlic!


I added some scallops just because I had some. Also some paprika and a dash of cayenne, some white wine, etc.



Verdict, it was pretty good, but needed way more butter. We ate it with some Thai sweet chili sauce on the side.
