thinking of the future

With Jamie getting out of the service next year, we've been preparing a lot for the transition. Resume writings, workshops, job searches, blah blah. The military pays for all these classes so we've both been taking full advantage of them. I've been thinking more of what I wanna do later in life too. Yesterday I did a 2 hour career assessment at the support center, and my ideal career field is either Library Technician or home health aide. No surprise there. I'm not gonna go out and start a career soon, I still want to be a stay at home mom for this next kid, at least for a year. But since there are all these free workshops available, I thought I might as well get a resume done and be prepared for later. I think I want to go back to school too, and major in IT. There are just so many career fields for that. So now there may be a chance that Jamie will try to extend here until August, because after August 16th, he can transfer his GI bill to me. We'll see what happens!
