New Zealand Trip

We had the best time on our vacation to New Zealand. It is such a beautiful country with a cosmopolitan city, beautiful beaches, a great cafe culture, farms and animals everywhere, and beautiful countrysides. We spent 10 days in Auckland and Tauranga, and did so much that it would take too long to blog about everything. But here were some highlights:

1. Taking a ferry to Waiheke Island
2. Going to the Sky Tower, the tallest structure in the southern hemisphere
3. Catching a Mauri Cultural concert
4. Seeing the Pohutu Geyser in Rotorua
5. Taking a dip outside in the hot pools in the middle of winter
6. Winetasting at the wineries
7. Watching a sheepshow and Kainoa feeding the lambs
8. Going to Hobbiton and seeing where they filmed the Shire of LOTR
9. Drinking coffee and people watching at the cafes
10. Walking the base of Mount Maunganui, an extinct volcano
11. Eating a homecooked meal of Lamb and mint sauce and pumpkin and potatoes, YUM!

sounds awesome! But it seems you forgot a few highlights. I'll just take the liberty to plug them in here.

12. Wandering around Auckland streets following some idiot who came to pick us up but couldn't find his car...then drove the wrong way out of Auckland over the bridge, which allowed for some brilliant photo opportunies.

13. Seeing Chad, Gina, and Kennedi. Some of New Zealand's finest people.

:)
