Washi Tea Box

Today I had went to a class on how to make a Washi Tea Box. Washi is a type of Japanese paper made out of Mulberry. To make the box I used rice glue, 2 types of washi, and a regular box. It was really fun, and I really want to take more classes on Japanese crafts. I only wish I had a reliable babysitter! I hate relying on my friends, and I've tried to hire 3 babysitters already and nobody has the time. Oh where are the grandparents when you need them! I think next i'm going to try an Ikebana class if I can find someone to watch Kainoa.
