Camping

We went camping at Tama Hills this weekend. I'm usually not the camping type of person, I hate the bugs, the dirtiness, being uncomfortable. But Jamie's been begging me for months to go. I knew Kainoa would love it so I gave in. It was actually not so bad. Kainoa had a ton of fun roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. And of course he had a major kick out of sleeping in the tent. He did burn himself on the lamp right before we went to bed, but didn't cry. He's a tough kid. I was pretty uncomfortable, my back was killing me and i've been feeling queasy 24/7. But it was worth it to see the happiness in Kainoa's face.
