Weekend stuff

I didn't do much this weekend, with Jamie being gone. I went shopping with my friend Sarah at Diamond City, the biggest mall (I think) in Tokyo. I scored this really cute t-shirt bag at Zara.

I'm going to use it as a grocery bag here in Japan (since reusing and recycling are huge here), but I think I'm going to take it to Hawaii to use as a regular bag too.

Kainoa had fun playing at the little play area with Noah.


I've also been in a cooking mood. I made some blueberry muffins to bring to my friend's coffee get together. I think i overcooked them a bit, but the crumb topping was so good. Got the recipe here:

I made them mini, of course.



Then today i made some pizza pockets. Just simple out of crescent rolls, tomato paste, cheese and oregano. I thought they were pretty good. I'm going to freeze a bunch for quick meals.













That's all for now. I guess I did have a somewhat busy weekend.
